Imaging/Radiology Services

We offer a full line of up-to-date imaging services—performed by our staff of board certified radiologists and registered technologists. They can provide:

CAT Scan
Digital Mammography
General Ultrasound
Vascular Ultrasound
Bone Densitometry
General Diagnostic Radiology

The department is furnished with state-of-the-art equipment that includes digital fluoroscopy, spiral CT, SPECT nuclear imaging, and a 1.0 high field MRI.

Our mammography services are accredited by the American College of Radiology (ACR) and certified by the FDA under the Mammography Quality Standard Act. We now offer Full Field Direct Digital Mammograms.

Our ultrasound is accredited by the American College of Radiology (ACR) and Intersocietal Commission for Accreditation of Vascular Laboratories (ICAVL).

The Nuclear Medicine Department has accreditation from the American College of Radiology. We were one of the first facilities in the upstate to achieve this prestigious accreditation.

The Department of Imaging employs only registered technologists, many with multiple advanced certifications in CT, Mammography, MR, Ultrasound, and Nuclear Medicine.

All of our radiologists are certified by the American Board of Radiology with many of them fellowship trained in subspecialties such as mammography, neuroradiology, and musculoskeletal radiology.

The Imaging department has a full functioning PACS (Picture Archiving Communication System). This system takes the department to a fully digital environment. Images are digitally captured and may be viewed on workstations located throughout the hospital. Physicians can use this technology to manipulate images—enhancing their ability to make better diagnoses.
