About Us
Baptist Easley Hospital has been a part of the upstate South Carolina community since 1958. As the primary healthcare service provider in Pickens County, our 109-bed general acute care facility provides services such as surgery, lithotripsy, MRI, CT Scan, and emergency and outpatient care, as well as cardiopulmonary services.
Our hospital excels in surgery, obstetrics, orthopaedics, emergency medicine, plus imaging and diagnostics (including state-of-the-art stereotactic biopsy technology). Our campus includes a 40,000-square-foot outpatient services facility and a 4,000-square-foot diagnostic cardiac catheterization laboratory. In addition, our strong primary care physician network has offices conveniently located throughout the community.
Baptist Easley Hospital is a partnership between Palmetto Health and Greenville Health System. This unprecedented collaboration enhances healthcare in the Upstate in a cost-effective manner by increasing access, improving quality, and facilitating the coordination of patient care. While independent, Baptist Easley can draw on the expertise of both organizations to enhance care.
Baptist Easley has received many accolades in the past few years—most recently becoming the first hospital ever to achieve top 10 percent in patient satisfaction, physician satisfaction, and staff satisfaction. This is an achievement that earned us the inaugural Press Ganey Partner of Choice Award.
Previously, we were one of four hospitals in America to receive the prestigious Premier Orthopaedic Award for Hip and Knee Replacement (2006). In addition, we were the only hospital in the country to receive the acclaimed “Fire Starter” award three times from The Studer Group, a national healthcare service consulting firm.
In 2008, Baptist Easley received the South Carolina Governor's Silver Achiever Award for developing, implementing, and deploying a quality management system based on the national Malcom Baldrige Quality Award criteria. Baptist Easley Hospital received the Gold Achiever Award for 2009.
